Pivoting radgrid on needDataSource not working?

I am implementing exactly same as described in demo to how to change the radGrid`s orientation. But my radGrid is empty and has nothing to display....please help!

I tried the same scenario at my end and its working fine. You can try downloading the Trial Version where you will find the live demo on displaying pivot data. Give a try with the demo and see if it works.  Below given is the path to the live demo:
