I have some problem using crosstab to display the percentage of number of items against the total of each group. Right now it's calculating agains the total count of the entire report.

Hello Quan Nguyen,
You are on the right track with the Exec function however as a scope our suggestion is to use the corresponding Crosstab group to get the expected data. I am not sure about the names of your Crosstab groups but it should look something like: = Exec("MailQuantityGroup",Count(Fields.Renew)). You can use the Group Explorer to examine the groups.
Up to the red Textbox you can't remove however you can merge both textboxes/cells by selecting them and from the context menu select Merge Cells option.
About adding a new column our suggestion is to select the Crosstab column that contains the Total Renewal Counts and from the context menu select Insert Column->Left option.
