PDFViewer is showing images rotated on some of our systems.  On this particular user it shows up rotated on Chrome, Edge, and Firefox.  This is happening on at least 2 computers.  When they open the PDF directly, the native browser view shows the PDF in the correct orientation.  I don't see a rotation function in the API.  Fortunately (or unfortunately?), this isn't happening on every system.  I'm at a loss to what's happening.

Hi Charles,

Thank you very much for the screenshots provided.

Indeed, this behavior of the Kendo UI for Angular PDFViewer has been previously reported to us and is related to a bug in our common package used across Kendo React and Kendo UI for Angular. The issue is reproduced with KendoReact PDFViewer as well.

I am happy to share that our development team handled the issue with the highest priority and the fix is already available in the latest version of our packages:

https://www.telerik.com/kendo-angular-ui/components/changelogs/kendo-angular-ui/#v15.0.1

To perform the update, please refer to the following article:

https://www.telerik.com/kendo-angular-ui/components/installation/up-to-date/#toc-updating-to-latest-versions

I hope this helps. Please, let me know if the issue persists after the upgrade.

Regards,
Georgi

Hi Georgi,

We are running into the exact same issue on the KendoReact PDFViewer package -- do you know which package version has the fix for the React package?

Hello, Janki,

The faced issue is known and fixed in KendoReact as well. The fix is included in version 8.1.0, so you can utilize it by updating the KendoReact packages to it:
