Hi Paulo,
The most probable reason for the large size is that fonts are embedded by default in the PDF document.
With version Q3 2007 of Telerik Reporting we have introduced the capability to configure the rendering extensions. As far as the PDF export is concerned you can choose whether and how to embed used fonts in the resulting document. If you would like to reduce the file size, you can try with the values Subset or None for the FontEmbedding parameter. For more information please see Configuring Telerik Reporting and Device Information Settings.
If that is not the case, please send us your report and we will see why the PDF file becomes so large.
Greetings,
Ross

I have an image that goes into the header of the report.
the image is about 100kb.
The file size of the pdf grows many times the logo is displayed again if the report has more than 1 page.
1pages = 100kbs
4pages = 400kbs
I know that probably will not have a quick correction, but keep the suggestion about correcting it on future versions.
Thanx
Paulo

Hello Paulo,
We have implemented duplicate image caching and it will be available with the upcoming version 2008 Q1 (coming out in less than two weeks). Then your logo will be embedded in the PDF file only once and the size will shrink.
Best wishes,
