Thank you for your feature request.
Unfortunately, due to the different browser restrictions it is not possible to write a cross-browser solution for this behavior because only IE and Firefox 3 offers access to the clipboard information. That is why it is not possible to check whether there is some content in the clipboard and implement this feature in other browsers.
I logged your request in our ToDo list but I cannot provide an estimate when it will be implemented because of the different cross browser problems and limitations.
