Hi Dimitri,

The RadPageLayout control is based on a grid layout which maximal width is 12. Span property sets width of a column in these grid units. If you would like to make for example two equal column, their Span property will be 6 for the both columns. So if you set the Span property to 2, the column will be one sixth from the entire grid width. If sum of columns width exceeds 12,  the columns will fall to the next line.

You can find more detailed information about the grid system in our online articles Grid Based Layout and Columns.

Regards,
Magdalena
