Hello Shimoli,

We have verified the issue and can confirm that a docking problem really exists when landscape is used. The issue is logged in our bug tracking system and will introduce a fix for subsequent release of Telerik Reporting. In the meantime our suggestion is to dock left all of the Textboxes and change with Binding TextBoxes.Width property depending on your landscape report parameter. Just to note that you will need an user function to convert double values to Unit.Inch.

Check out the attached sample project that illustrates the suggested approach.

Your Telerik points have been updated for letting us know about the problem.

Best wishes,
Peter

Has this problem been fixed?  I seem to have the same problem in my WPF report as well.

Hello Shimoli,

The problem is not yet fixed. The automatic layouts were created some time ago in order to be able to mimic a tabular layout. Later on, with the introduction of the Table/List/Crosstab items, the docking and anchoring lost purpose. Because of that, all issues connected to them are considered with lower priority.

Have you tried the new visualization options in Telerik Reporting Q2 2013? You can get them from your account.

Hi,
Is there any chance to see this been fixed?  I can´t figure out how Table/List/Crosstab items can help on placing a footer?
This bug also appears when docking a Table in the report´s content.

At the moment (Q1 2014) the support for switching paper and orientation in reports is broken!

Hello Andreas,

The originally reported issue is not fixed in the latest available Telerik Reporting release. The suggestion for using the Table/List/Crosstab item is mainly to allow you to produce a layout where items stick together without applying additional settings.

In case your intend is to push a non-page section to the bottom of the page, the current option is to analyze the data and the available space defined by the report's PageSettings properties, and define how many empty records to be added to the data source in order to generate enough items/section to push the desired section.

Hi Phil,

I tested with our latest version 14.1.20.618 and the Docking to the Left seems to be working correctly in both Portrait and Landscape modes in Print Preview. I have attached a sample ReportLibrary project for reference.
