I am trying to create a report with crosstab.The Crosstab contains three row groups.Third group is under the second group and second group under the first.then I want to break the crosstab after each first group.How can I break the crosstab.

Hello Rajisha,
Explicit page breaks in a report can only be set via the PageBreak Property of the ReportSection Class i.e. page breaks can only be set per report section. You cannot apply page breaks after certain report item in a single section. Implicit page breaks occur when data does not fit on the physical page size you have defined.

But I want to break the crosstab after each group section even if the data not fit in the page.Is that possible??

Hi Rajisha,
As explained in previous post, page breaks are only per report sections, so you cannot page break after a row group of a CrossTab item.

Will this ever be fixed? If not, then Crosstab reports are just useless for us and we will have to resort back to using SQL Pivot Queries to give us our data.

Hello Paulo,
Page breaks are not supported in a Table/List/Crosstab item.
Instead you can change the layout and use the report sections to visualize data. Report sections support page breaks - Paging and Keep Together.
Please feel free to vote for the logged feature requests.

The Page Break in Table or TableGroup feature request was implemented in R2 2018. You can check the Release Notes for further information.

Hi Joan,
As Neli stated, you may now introduce Page Breaks in Table/Crosstab/List groups.
Check also the article section Paging and Keep Together.
