Opera - do you support it in your apps?

We make a commercial asp.net app and try to support the widest range of browsers possible.

We just switched from the asp.net components to the asp.net AJAX components in a new release we're working on and we've been testing Opera 9.63 latest version and running into many weirdnesses we didn't see before with the last generation Telerik components.

Telerik seems to have no solution for some of them, workarounds for others.

Chrome and IE and FireFox aren't having these same problems, I'm wondering if we should just say Opera is unsupported and call it a day on that since it appears that Telerik is unable to support some of their stuff on Opera and don't seem to test other stuff at all on Opera because some of the issues were pretty obvious right off the bat (transparent background in context menus etc).

Do you support Opera or just call it unsupported?

Hi AyaNova,

I am sorry to hear that you encountered some issues when using RadControls for ASP.NET AJAX under Opera browser. Opera is in the list of supported browsers available here:

Can you replicate the discrepancies on the online demos of our products? I will appreciate if you outline the glitches you stumbled upon and can assure you that we will do everything possible to address them asap. There might be several limitations related to the Opera browser engine as the transparent background of context menus, however we will do our best to provide workarounds for them if possible.
