On selection autocomplete control item second time the keypad does't up in Surface Pro device on cursor focus in input as Kendo UI version 2015.3.930 being used. Whereas, at the same time I have been verified the same was working fine as expected with 2015.1.***(Q1) version.

Kindly check the same let us know. It would be appriciate a lot in case anyone replay with possible solution as early as possible.

Note*: Above mentioned steps had been verified at kendo DOJO editor in Microsoft surface pro(IE touch APP Mode) as well.

Thanks & Regards,

Santosh

Hello Santosh,

I tested the AutoComplete on a Surface device and it seems that the widget behaves as expected: Could you let me know if I am missing something? Could you share with us a repro steps list that will help us to observe the depicted issue?

Hello Santosh,

Thank you for the additional information and screencast. Indeed, the keyboard is not shown after initial item selection. Unfortunately, we are out of idea why the browser decides to not show the keyboard on subsequent focus.

The widget does not do any special in that case and no of the wired events or applied attributes (we removed them) should control the virtual keyboard behavior.

The widget works just fine with newer Windows10 and my assumption is that the behavior is a limitation with the used current version. I am afraid that we cannot do much in this case. What I would suggest you is to use newer version of Windows.
