Hi,

Is it possible to host & render a report in an offline scenario. In other words, I do not want to use the ReportService.svc, I just want to render the report directly in the reportviewer.

Thanks

Hi Brett Pierce,

Telerik Reporting WCF Service is only needed with the Silverlight Report Viewer - the viewer supports all functionality available in the Web, WPF and Win Viewers. The most significant difference between the Silverlight viewer and the other two viewers is that the Silverlight viewer lives on the client side, while the reports and the rendering engine are on the server side.

Currently the Silverlight Report Viewer can't be used without a service.

Kind regards,
Peter
