Hi all,

I am posting my response here as well for everyone's benefit. Since Q32009-SP1 release, we had intermittent reports about treenodes remaining as highlighted or even altogether disappearing briefly. Once this issue is seen, restarting the application or closing down other applications did not resolve this issue. However, rebooting the machines seems to have resolved this issue. I don't know what the problem is exactly but atleast there's the most popular workaround :)

Regards,
MP

Any word on this?  We are having the same problem.  How do we solve it?  Please get back to me as soon as possible.

Thank you.

Hi dan harvey,

Thank you for the question.

As we are not able to reproduce the issue locally, we cannot provide you with a tested and appropriate workaround. We are still investigating the issue which MP has, namely mouseover paint issues when the machine where RadControls are running is not rebooted for a long period of time. Most of the clients that had such issues, however, actually had issues with their display adapters, because their painting issues were addressed once they updated their video drivers. Therefore, I would strongly recommend you to try updating your video drivers if you have not done it so far.

Best wishes,

Hi Dan Harvey,

Please note that in Q1 2011 we have introduced a major upgrade of RAdTreeView control, which is now virtualized and fully customizable. Feel free to download the latest release and try it out.
For more information about this release, please refer to this blog post.
