Am I losing my mind?  Jumped into VSB today and wanted to do a quick skin for RadListVIew.  A couple of things i noticed..

1 -- for reason when I create a skin it also adds other elements I didn't pick (Grid, Input, etc, etc).  Didn't do this before.
2 -- there's no fine-tune option for ListView  (this might be normal as I've never skinned ListView before).
3 -- upon downloading a vanilla DEFAULT skin for ListView, it didn't appear that it used DEFAULT as the base skin like it should have.

Figured I'd report a few quirks.  Used both IE and FF to make sure it wasn't something funky with my browser.

I really don't like that it adds other components.... having to delete the files is a pain.  Anyway, wanted to report.  Thanks all.

Hi Clint,

Straight to your questions:
  1. The ListView skin depends on the images from the Grid and FormDecorator skins, thus it adds the controls as dependencies. You can delete the generated CSS, but deleting the images will cause the ListBox skin to be incomplete and will break it if you use checkboxes or buttons with icons.
  2. Indeed, because the ListView is almost entirely made of templates, a fine-tune interface doesn't make sense -- therefore, we didn't make one.
  3. Can you please elaborate the issue with the default skin? What part of it doesn't appear to be the same as the Default?

Best wishes,

Those are all clear enough Alex.  I was just curious more than anything and that makes a lot of sense.  Also, I hadn't seen all of the other elements show up together before and was wondering about that.  Just a change in the VSB.  Upon playing with the default skin a little more I was able to get it to work as expected.  Thanks for the info.
