We have an application where new kendo window opens from a hyper link on a child pop up from the parent window. when the new window is closed and the child pop up is closed , some of the buttons on the parent window does not work they just gets frozen. Please advise how can we fix this. I tried many options...
Note : the new window has a splitter, we used Kendo splitter.
When i click button, it gives " Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read properties of undefined" in the console

Could you please elaborate a little bit more on the exact scenario and configuration on your end? I tried to replicate the issue on my side but to no avail.
Linked here you will find a Dojo example with two Windows. The first Window contains a button that will open the second Window. The second Window contains a Splitter. The buttons in the first Window works as expected even after the second Window is closed. Am I missing something? Could you please try to modify the dojo example in order to replicate the behavior the way it is at your end and send it back for a review? This way we could understand the issue better and advise you further.
