nestedviewtemplate alternative

Hello

What is the best alternative for a nestedviewtemplate when using a single datasource (mailmessages from which I want to show the body text in a second detailrow of a grid row) and  the Telerik suite version prior to Prometheus ?

Do you have an example of such a solution ?

This functionality can easily be implemented using the NestedViewTemplate. Please share with us why is this not an option for you, so that we can suggest further alternatives.

since when are "NesteViewTemplates" supported ? I use RadGrid.Net2.dll 5.1.0.0

Hello Pepijn,

This feature is introduced in the ASP.NET AJAX version of RadGrid since the Q1 2008 release (2008.1.415) of the product. I suggest you migrate to this version of the control or better yet to the Q1 2008 SP2 release (v2008.1.619) - this should not be a problem as our records indicate that you still evaluate the grid.
