I am wondering if Telerik Reporting can perform this particular task that I want to achieve.

This the case when in the end I need to print out a few documents. Instead of having a few reports, I want to have it all in 1.

I want to have 2 templates in 1 report. As a case, I want to have a contract template and invoice template in 1 report. Each on 1 page itself. When after keying in customer information, I want to see the preview of the contract and invoice on the 1 reportviewer. Meaning that I will have 2 pages for my report. 1st page is the contract and 2nd page the invoice.

I have no idea on whether this can be done and if can how?

Hello Eugene,

Can you elaborate on what do you mean by template? Do you mean that the invoice and contract data should be from separate datasources? This is currently not possible in a single report. Your best option would be to create two reports and use them as ReportSources for subreport items that are going to be placed in a master report.

Kind regards,

Hi Steve,

What I meant is that I want the contract document in the first page of the report and the invoice on the 2nd page of the report. but in the designing of the report can only be on 1 page rather than 2. Currently what I am doing is that I have 2 ReportViewer on the screen. 1 showing the contract and the other showing the invoice. but I want to have it on 1 reportviewer instead. hope that you can understand what I am trying to say.

Hello Eugene,

You can achieve this with two subreport items as explained in my previous reply. Simply make sure that the Report that is source of SubReport1 item has enough height, so that the second SubReport2 item would be pushed on the second page.

Sincerely yours,
