Hi,

We're converting some charts into Kendo. One tricky situation I've run into is that this particular chart allows users to display more than one series with different time periods. However, the series will span the whole width of the chart.

I've been able to create Kendo charts with multiple series, but it shows them in time order. I've attached screenshots of both. The screenshot with red and blue plot lines is the legacy chart, and the screenshot with orange and green lines is the new Kendo chart.

Thanks,

Eric

Hi Eric,

You can use different category axes for the series via series.categoryAxis option. For your convenience here is a basic example.

That answer was so helpful, thanks. I got my charts showing the different series with their own category axis.

One thing I'm also hoping to do is to have each series span the complete width of the chart, even if they have different ranges of values. For example, if one series is seven days and the other is 30 days, they should both start at the left and end at the right.

Does that make sense?

Thanks

Hi Eric,

For this requirement you should set the categoryAxis.justified option to true.
