Moving Elements On Report

I am using reporting 2008 Q2 and I am having problems when trying to move elements on my report. It seems I have to hold the leftclick on my mouse for a second or three before the textbox becomes movable. I am not sure if this a performance issue with my computer or if there is another thing at work. Any comments?

Hello Henry,

Exactly how many textboxes, pictureboxes, charts etc. do you have on your report? Currently we're aware of such a slowdown when there is a huge amount of items (let's say ~100), however the problem is mainly with moving the item and we did not notice any issues with selecting the item.

I don't have that many textboxes etc. Probably approximately 50. The weird thing is if I left click on the control and move off the control while holding the left button down then move back over the control it then is moveable.

I've just made a test with 60 textboxes and could not reproduce the problem, so it might be something related to your specific report. If this designer quirk is bothering you, please open a support ticket and attach your report there. Once we review it we would be able to provide more info.
