Hi peeps,

I was wondering if there was a way I could leverage some telerik "under-the-cover" features for non-telerik controls.  I'd really like to use the window hooks for modal-ness and movement without having to code that myself.  I was looking through the javascript resources for RadWindow and it seems to use the telerik framework's code that handles modal popups, as well as hooks for click-dragging the window title.

I am creating a custom window that will be used much in the way a grid edit form is used, to give you a visualization.  I have everything working as far as functionality, but the table is statically cemented to the page and adds to the clutter of the page behind it.

Any help would be appreciated!

Hello Paul,

Supporting the custom window that you implemented is beyond our support and we cannot provide you with a solution in this case. Please note that if you experience any problems with our controls, we will do our best to provide a solution as soon as possible.
As an alternative of the custom window I suggest you to use the RadWindow control with applied customizations. You could fully customize the appearance of the window by implementing a custom skin. Also you could add custom buttons to the title bar. In this case you will be able to use the rich client-side API of the control without any problems.

I hope this helps.

All the best,
