I cannot find the API reference for the Telerik.Web.UI.RadAsyncUpload (I mean the one under RadControls/API Reference/Telerik.Web.UI Namespace).
Neither in online help, nor in the downloaded offline version.
Yesterday I updated to last version, but still can't find API documentation.
Is it missing?

For example I see in the online demo (Ajaxified grid) that there's a server side event ValidatingFile, but no documentation on it and the VS properties panel does not show it among available events.

Thanks

Hi Igor,

Please refer to our on-line documentation and in particular the Client-Side Programming section where you can start with the Client-Side Basics and the RadAsyncUpload Client Object articles. Can you please clarify which is the exact demo that you are referring to so we can inspect it and update it accordingly.

Hello, thanks for the answer.
I can't find any server side documentation about the class: I'm talking about the API reference as the one for the RadUpload control
http://www.telerik.com/help/aspnet-ajax/t_telerik_web_ui_radupload.html

not the general
http://www.telerik.com/help/aspnet-ajax/asyncupload-overview.html

If you look at the Telerik.UI documentation
http://www.telerik.com/help/aspnet-ajax/n_telerik_web_ui.html
you'll see that RadAsyncUpload is missing.

The demo I was talking about is this one
http://demos.telerik.com/aspnet-ajax/controls/examples/integration/gridandradasyncupload/defaultcs.aspx?product=asyncupload
A server side ValidatingFile event is used, but I can't find it on documentation.

Hello Igor,

We already deprecated the RadUpload control and therefore we will be no longer updating its documentation.

Considering the event that you are referring to, it seems that teh RadAsyncUpload control does not have  this event and it seems to have been used with the RadUpload control. I will make sure that we update the demo accordingly. You can also find your Telerik point updated for the provided feedback.

Hello, I know that RadUpload is depreceted, I posted the documentation URL only as an example for asking "where is the RadAyncUpload API reference?"

This is the RadUpload API reference
http://www.telerik.com/help/aspnet-ajax/t_telerik_web_ui_radupload.html
Where is the RadAyncUpload one?
Not the generic
http://www.telerik.com/help/aspnet-ajax/asyncupload-overview.html
but the real reference as any Telerik control has.

This is RadGrid reference
http://www.telerik.com/help/aspnet-ajax/t_telerik_web_ui_radgrid.html
This is RadSlider
http://www.telerik.com/help/aspnet-ajax/t_telerik_web_ui_radslider.html
ecc.
Where is the RadAyncUpload one?

Go to http://www.telerik.com/help/aspnet-ajax/n_telerik_web_ui.html and you'll see all the controls references but NOT the RadAsyncUpload one.

Hi Igor,

Thank you for clarifying that.

Indeed the API reference for the RadAsyncUpload is currently missing from our documentation. I will, however make sure that we update it shortly and include it.
