Metro App with WPF

Hi,

I would like to know if Telerik plan to develop "RadMetroControls" in order to simulate Metro App also on Windows 7.

I've seen that you have developped something for WinForms (DemoHub), but some features are missing (such as application bar, ...).
Currently, some projects are available on Codeplex (http://mosaicproject.codeplex.com/, http://newgen.codeplex.com/).

Do you plan to develop such controls/framework and integrate it into the WPF package for this year ?

Yes this is in our development plans for this year. As we are too early in our research and development phase of this component I cannot commit its availability to any specific date or release.

Hello,

Telerik already has many controls that can be easily styled with Metro. Almost every RadControl support Metro theme, which is a great step in the direction. You are looking for a tile manager, as I see, but what is the problem with Telerik's current RadTile? I have developed Metro style apps completely with Telerik current tools, using RadWindow and RadTile controls.

As I know RadTile is a great control, but the look&feel + animation is not similar as Metro application.

I'm suching for a Metro Tile control, not a theme.
