With the help of a sample application I found a memory leak in Richtextbox.
It just displays a Dialog with a RichTextBox and then closes the window. After closing a call to GC.Collect() is made.
If you repeat that (e.g. 15 times) than the consumed memory is growing.
Please, can you confirm it is a bug or tell me the solution?

Froggie, what library version are you using?
I'm using v 2012.1.326.40 where I am also experiencing performance issues. The memory usage is going up and up over a period of time.
Initially things run smoothly then after some use it begins to lag. My issue can't be the document size because when I re-import it into a new instance of RadRichText box things run smoothly again.

Ok well it seems like my issue was because of the XamlDataProvider.
Coverting the document into XAML on the fly as I edit the document.
