I raised this very question before, and telerik's response is in the following forum thread (the last 6-7 messages):

Currently (as of Betas, RCs, etc) this is not supported, hopefully they will manage to pull it off for the official release next Monday.

You might want to add the Medium / Partial Trust requirement in a visible place in your documentation, since developers typically develop in full trust, while hosting companies usuaully do not allow this.
It will be very frustrating to invest several months in development, only to find out the solution can't be hosted on production server.
Also, you can contact hosting companies and ask them if they provide full trust hosting plans. I've read in the CSLA forums about full trust and found a list of hosting providers, that may provide that (but still, this needs to be double checked with the hosting provider).

Hi guys,
Unfortunately, we were not able to provide Medium Trust support for this first Reporting version, mostly due to time constraints and product design. Basically, we did not take into consideration the fact that a reporting product will be used under medium trust environments when we started developing the product. Now we will need to change the Reporting quite a bit in order provide this functionality, and time was against us for this release. Nevertheless, this feature will probably be included in v2 of the Reporting tool, due in the Fall.

I found this thread when looking for specific instructions on the trust requirements for Telerik Reporting. Our sites are all hosted by commercial hosting companies who cannot allow full trust for third party software. However, our host is proepared to do all they can to oblige us and we would very much oprefer to use Telerik Reporting than buy another programme, since we use Telerik controls throughout our sites.
You said below that you have not had time to build medium trust support into the earlier versions but you were hoping to do so by last fall. Can you tell me if this is now possible with the latest versions?

Hello Neil,
Unfortunately we would not be able to provide "by the book" support for Medium Trust environments, but we are working on reducing the required permissions. You can check this forum thread for more information.
