Map tooltip image from database

Hi all,

Wondering if you can help me please.

How can i assign the background image of a radmap.Marker.tooltip from a folder.

It is currently setup to save the user's profile image PATH in the database and then once the marker is created I want to bind the marker tooltipsettings.Background image with the path from the database.

Can you please assist me.

Hi Barend,

I can suggest you look into two options:

• use the Content of the tooltip from the server as shown in this demo: http://demos.telerik.com/aspnet-ajax/map/examples/data-binding/dataset/defaultcs.aspx. You can tweak the HTML template as needed.
• use the template of the tooltip on the client-side: http://demos.telerik.com/aspnet-ajax/map/examples/data-binding/client-side-data-binding/defaultcs.aspx. This is more efficient as it will not send an HTML string for each marker tooltip from the server, only the dataItem which is needed anyway
