Line numbers on report

I have a need to create a report with line numbers that restart every page.  Is there any way to do this?
I have been all over the documentation but I can't find anything at all on this.

Hi Andy,

You can use list or table and the RowNumber function. Then the number will be reset for every table.

If that does not cover your scenario please elaborate on your requirements so that we are able to advise you more accordingly.

Hi,
The list, or  table options will not work.will not work as I need sequential line numbers on the page.
I tried using a background image with line numbers and that work for full pages.  Is there a way to show a full page with background image if only a partial page is populated?

Hi Andy,

If you intend to use image then you can use watermarks instead - it will be much easier for you to set them up. However please note that watermarks will not be visible in Interactive View, only when the report is printed and in Print Preview.
