Hi,

We recently bought "Telerik Kendo UI for Angular" for our Angular app and we are using .Net core APIs as back-end for the application. We are planning to use Telerik Datasource extension/wrapper classes (NuGet package) for server side paging/sorting/filtering. Do we need to have separate license for this extension or can we use it as we already have license for Telerik UI?

Thanks for your time!

Hi Teky,

Basically, the .NET extensions are part of the Telerik UI for ASP.NET MVC and Telerik UI for ASP.NET Core suites. They are included in the DevCraft UI license and above. Please check the following link:

https://www.telerik.com/purchase/kendo-ui

However, I checked your details but it seems that there is no available license assigned to this account. If another account is registered for the purchased license, please make sure that the same is used. Thus will benefit from the 24h response time (72h with DevCratf UI).

The licensing model for our UI suites is on a per-developer basis. So, this means that anyone who integrates our controls into a project under development needs to have a license in their name. Specifically, any developer or end-user who adds Telerik resources (Binaries/DLLs) to a project (typically in Visual Studio) and implements, modifies, or styles the Telerik controls need to have their own (separate) developer license.

Please let me know if you want to upgrade your license and I will send your details and the case to a sales team member. Thank you in advance.

Regards,
Martin
