Hi,

We are installing Web Site Mangement 10.1 (reddot) and it comes with Telerik Rad Editor. We made the installation in French. All the labels for the Editor are cut out. I suppose that the labels in french are longer than in English but is there anything you can do about it since we are implementing it pretty soon to 600 users.

Thanks a lot !

Chantal

Hello Chantal,

Which version of RadEditor is used in RedDot? Does the CMS use RadEditor Classic (RadEditor.dll) or RadEditor for ASP.NET AJAX (Telerik.Web.UI.dll)?
If it is using RadEditor Classic you can see how to update the localization strings with shorter in these articles:

If the used editor is RadEditor for ASP.NET AJAX then see these articles:

HI Rumen,

Actually, i have those files in the bin directory :
Interop.RDCMSServer.dll
RadEditor.NET.dll
Telerik.Web.UI.dll
Telerik.Web.Ui.xml

Si it's the RadEditor for ASP.NET AJAX version we have. So i will look into the labels and change the ones that are too long. Do you think there will be a fix for that though?

Thanks for your help !

Chantal

Hi Chantal,

Could you please provide screenshots for all the localization issues that you face with the French localization? If you are able to provide a shorter versions of the French localization strings will be greatly appreciated as well.

Kind regards,
