    Hi Team,

I have gone through the KendoUI Virtualization: "https://demos.telerik.com/aspnet-core/dropdownlist/virtualization"

I would like to incorporate this feature in my Telerik Radgrid edititem template, currently using Dropdownlist. , So I would like to replace the dropdownlist from grid and place the Kendo UI dropdownlist which supports "virtualization".

Note : My Radgrid created programmatically, which supports paging , filtering etc.

Please suggest you thoughts also whether is possible or not.

    Regards,

    Ramesh.

    Hi Ramesh,

I'd suggest you use the combo box with its load-on-demand: https://demos.telerik.com/aspnet-ajax/combobox/examples/loadondemand/automaticloadondemand/defaultcs.aspx. You can read more about this feature in the documentation and also see how to use it with a web service: https://docs.telerik.com/devtools/aspnet-ajax/controls/combobox/load-on-demand/showmoreresultsbox-virtual-scrolling. As a server control, it is better suited for use in the web forms grid. If you want to use the Kendo widget you'd have to re-create it every time it gets disposed by a postback, and with WebForms that can easily become cumbersome because of partial postbacks and complex control nesting that can make accessing the correct element hard.

Thanks. I used Radcombo box to achieve the similar functionality.
