Hi,
Kendo Ui for Angular provides a much larger set of true Angular components like the DropDownsModule, Charts, Treeview etc that are not provided by Angular Material UI. For a full list of the available components check the following article:

The components provide multiple features out of the box, that allow to easily achieve the desired behavior of any web application. For example the DropDowns module provides four different types of a dropdown, each having its own specific functionality that can be useful for the implementation of a specific scenario.
The product is still in its initial life stage and we are constantly improving it by introducing newer features and enhancements. Check our roadmap for more details on what are our short and long term goals:
