[Solved] Kendo UI licenses for Angular in a docker build

Do you have any guidance on activating Kendo UI licenses for Angular in a docker build?

Hi Matthew,

So far we don't have a step-by-step guide on how to activate the license using Docker, but the appraoch is the same as the available CI Services:

When adding the license key to CI services it must be present at build time. In a docker scenario, make sure that:

• the `KENDO_UI_LICENSE` declaration must occur before the `npm ci`  (or `npm install`) run.
  
• the license activation on the CI has to be done in the same folder where the application is: 
  https://www.telerik.com/kendo-react-ui/my-license/#toc-add-the-license-key-to-ci-services 
  
  
• there has to be no single quotes around the `KENDO_UI_LICENSE` value. More details about this specific can be found here: https://dev.to/tvanantwerp/don-t-quote-environment-variables-in-docker-268h
