Auto Text Wrap for labels on categoryAxis

Hello,

I would like to find out if there is a way to automatically wrap text on labels on the categoryAxis if they are too long, or perhaps wrap them manually?

Would be good to wrap the long label starting with 2005... somewhere in the middle...

Proper way to reload grid after making configuration changes

If I have a grid, and then make configuration changes such as

Change Page Size
Change parameterMap settings

what is the proper way to reload the grid to reflect these settings changes?

If I try
grid.data("kendoGrid").dataSource.read();
it just refreshes the data, but no configuration settings take effect. (Which makes sense)

Other things I have tried make the grid "double up" the data.

Please advise.

How can I make DropDownList update more than one column

I have a grid with data coming from a web service, one of the columns is a DropDownList to enable the user to change the customer on a sales order (it is just a proof of concept project at the moment). The data source for the Grid has both customer account number and customer name, but the Grid only shows the customer name, which is the column that the drop down list is on currently. What I want to do is, when you select a new customer using the drop down list, it updates the customer account column AND the customer name column so that the grid is up to date. Is there any easy way of doing this?

Kendo as a replacement for silverlight

Hello,
I currently use SL to enable realtime asynchronous communication between an asp.net application and a windows client .net application. Take a look at http://eneter.blogspot.com/2011/10/silverlight-notification-messages-from.html. With the end of SL looking more real every day e.g. IE10 Metro, I am wondering if I can effectively replace my simple SL interface with the Kendo framework? Below is an excerpt of my SL app. Any advice would be appreciated.

Back Button Graphic

The back button on device needs to be modified....when using an iPad you can see the clear delineation where a triangle is joined to a rectangle....this becomes even more so when viewing on Android device where the triangle is darker....does not look good.

Can this be improved?

Menu image position

Hello,

Is there a way to set the position of an image in relation to the text on a menu item? It looks like the image defaults to the left of the text. For my project I would like the image to show above the text. Is this possible?

WYSWYG editors: Aloha, BlueGriffin, CKedit - which?

My layout is getting more involved, and I no longer am comfortable doing this all in javascript. I need an IDE for styling and layout of my splitters, tabs and panelbars (wish I had a Silverlight GridLayout!).

I have JetBrians Webstorm for the javascript environment. I have VS2010 and WebExpressions (but I am not happy with either their Javascript or WebLayout offerings). I see nothing special coming in the Blend or VS11 betas. (do you?)

What I am now looking at is other offerings that work well with KendoUI. I tried BlueGriffen yesterday and it seems ok. Not much documentation. What about Aloha CKedit , Maqette (blocked by firewall) etc. What I want is something simple and fits compactly in my brain with a clean metaphor but powerful enough for HTML5 and CSS3 styling.

(I miss Blend and Silverlight, but there is no going back now).
