Using the following example project for a multi-select in a Grid:

Failure steps

Run the project as-is.
Edit any grid line.
Add a Territory by typing the first few letters and pressing enter to select the highlighted item.
Save the grid line

Issue
In the Update action, the ModelState is not valid and the Territories list in the EmployeeViewModel has null entries for the first X items (equivalent the the number of items existing before the update). The data POSTed from the grid seems to be inconsistent. New items are posted as TerritoryViewModel-type objects but the existing items are posted as the value (id) only.

Note
Adding at least one item by clicking with the mouse magically resolves this issue and all items are posted as complete objects.

window modal overlay opacity

Latest internal build 2013.2.819 has a black overlay on modal window. It seems to have overlay opacity set to 1 instead of the default .5
Is this a bug or a new feature where we need to set the default opacity on the overlay of modal window?
I'm running Firefox 23.0.1 browser.

Kendo spinner doesnt work with Bundling & minification

Hi,

Am using MVC4 project and followed the instructions given on this link. It works fine while debug flag is set to true in the web.config file. Which means that bundling and minification is disabled.

when debug flag is set to false, bundling and minification is enabled, then kendo spinner (kendo.ui.progress) doesn't load. Not sure if am missing something. Could someone please advise.

Abort ajax request whhen closing Kendo Window.

Hi!
I'm using 'Content' option of Kendo Window go get a page with iframe. It takes a lot of time to let the iframe be loaded.
Is there any way to abort window content loading request when, for example, user closes the window?

[Solved] Grid filter with datepicker select dropdown operator value programmatically

I have a filterable column grid with a datepicker:

$("#myGrid").kendoGrid({
...
...
field: "myDate",
...
filterable: {
ui: "datepicker"
},
...

Works great. But I will like to preselect the dropdown operator (equal, greater or equal, etc..) based on some criteria, before displaying to the user.
Which event can I use to do that?.
I know I can change some options like the text:

var filterMenuForMyDate = $("#MyGrid").data("kendoGrid").thead.find("th:contains('myDate')").data("kendoFilterMenu");
filterMenuForExportedUTC.options.messages.info = 'My customized text';
..
but I can't find a way to force the operator dropdown to preselect a value before displaying to the user (like a pre-render)
Is there a way to do this?

Kendo calendar control showing improper dates

Hello,

I have used kendo calendar control in my application and it shows up improper dates. However, after selecting the date, it shows-up correctly in the associated text-box. Please refer attachment to have a better idea on the issue.

Kindly suggest any solution/am i missing something here?

RTL

Hi,
I'm having some problems with RTL in ListView. Is this the way to properly handle issues like this? (remove the custom CSS and you'll get the misalignment).
I presume that the arrow pointing to the right should in fact point to the left, but that would also imply the MobileView being opened from the left....
ScrollView doesn't work properly. The second ScrollView is in the left, but it won't let you swipe to it.
Also, DataViz charts seem to have problems with RTL. Legend's items become misaligned, the connectors too.
I need an advice on how to continue with this matter. Should I try patching with css/js corrections as needed?
