[Solved] Kendo Chat 2026.1.212 doesnt trigger the suggestionsTemplate method anymore

Hi,

In version 2026.1.212 Kendo Chat is no longer calling the suggestionsTemplate method.

I am following your example on how to make a own suggestionsTemplate here:

I made a Kendo Dojo UI from your example:

As you can see the method is never called.

Hi Douglas,

It would probably be fixed with next release, but I cannot promise exact frame or version.

The workaround would be to use the .html() method to achieve the same appearance:
https://api.jquery.com/html/
