jQuery version for Q2 2013?

Not seeing the jQuery version for Q2 2013 listed anywhere. It's nice that you bundle jQuery with Kendo, but I like knowing the version I'm using. Is it still 1.9.1?

Hello David,

The version of jQuery that is coming in the Kendo UI bundle is 1.9.1. You can easily check this if you open the file in a text editor where you can see:

/*! jQuery v1.9.1 | (c) 2005, 2012 jQuery Foundation, Inc. | jquery.org/license

I have 2013.3 1324 installed, and the project template has jQuery 1.8.2.  Is my template corrupt?  If so, how do I correct this?

Hi David,

The default project ASP.NET MVC template comes with 1.8.2 installed as a nuget package. You have two options:

1) Update the jQuery nuget package or
2) Just include the jQuery file from the kendo directory. It is guaranteed to be compatible with Kendo UI.

Just make sure only one version of jQuery is included in the page.
