This could happen if you use background images, which as outlined in the design considerations for excel rendering topic are not supported.

Hi ,
I am also having this image problem in Excel. I am using the BackgroundImage.ImageData to add the image, it is working fine in PDF. What should i do to work this for Excel. Can you please guide me?

Hello Shilpa,
As noted in the article from previous post, Background images are not supported and there is limitation of the Excel format itself and not ours. If you need to show an image inside the report, consider using a PictureBox item and set its Value.

Hi Shilpa,
You can do this via Conditional Formatting. The PictureBox would be hidden only when the certain values do not match your needs.

Hi Steve,
In my Scenario, For a column when value is positive i need to show an up arrow image and in case of negative value i want to show a down arrow in that column in excel. Please let me know if this could be done.

Generally for displaying images we recommend the PictureBox item. Just add (drag from the Toolbox) the PictureBox item in a CrossTab cell and it will replace the default TextBox item. Then set the PictureBox.Sizing to Center. Additionally the PictureBox.Value property supports expressions. Thus you can conditionally change the image. Just right click the PictureBox item and select Expression from the context menu.
