Hello - I see the method here that describes how to use the "Add New Record" method. I was wondering if there was a way to customize that so the data maps below the appropriate header, instead of just a drop down table.
So it would look like this

If I get you correctly, your grid editors are dropdowns and you'd like to specify default selection to each of them.
In such a case, you can use the DefaultInsertValue property and use as a base the solution provided in this StackOverflow thread - How do I set default data on insert?.
