We have a Calculated Column  in the RadGrid.  Whenever we try to Insert a new record it throws an exception.  After combating this problem for the whole day, we figured it out that the problem only appears while EditMode is set to In-Place. It perfectly works when it is set to EditForms.

We created  several test situations and found out that it always behaves same i.e. throws exception in the In-Place mode. Is it a bug ?

In our particular case we do need a Calculated column and and also we need to edit it in In-Place mode.

I used the example that you sent me and then noticed that it works in "EDIT" but gives same problem in "INSERT".  We have exactly the same problem with our own application i.e. it works in Edit but fails in Insert.

Please try on your end to Add a new record to this example and you will most likely get the same error.

It seems like a bug ?
