Is it possible to do this?  What is the easiest way to do this?

Hello Pierre,

Currently the converters only work under Visual Studio report designer. Thus our suggestion is to convert the reports in Visual Studio and then import the converted report definition in standalone report designer as elaborated in How to: Import reports created with the VS Report Designer help article.
