Is there a way to insert an image (ostensibly a transparent background image) in a SpreadProcessing worksheet cell like there is in Excel? If not, is there a way to accomplish the same thing with Cell styles? Attached is an example.
Those images, however, will not act as a background for the cell or the worksheet. They are rather additional objects that will lay over the worksheet independent of the cell.
By looking at the screenshot, I assume you are trying to mark a cell with a red triangle shape, is that right? That is what happens in MS Excel if you add a note.
If you'd like to add notes to cells, that is also possible using the RadSpreadProcessing. Instructions can be found in the Notes - RadSpreadProcessing section of the documentation.
Please let me know if you have any questions.

I need different colored triangles to mean different things. I’ll take a look at the shapes and images feature. If i need to include a shape in many different cells, is it possible to clone a single shape object, or would i need to create new images from a memory stream for each?

Hi Albert,
From all the types of shapes, SpreadProcessing currently supports only images. Thus, to achieve that requirement, you will need to place images in the cells. Sharing a single image across different cells is not possible and you will need to keep different objects for each cell.
