Found a bug involving image alignment. There are issues with both FireFox and IE, but they happen slightly differently.

In FireFox:
  1. Go here: http://demos.telerik.com/ASPNET/Prometheus/Editor/Examples/SaveInExternalFile/DefaultCS.aspx
  2. Add an image
  3. Go into image properties and set it to align left
  4. Click "save" (or just switch to source view and back)
  5. Alignment is lost

In IE:
  1. Go here: http://demos.telerik.com/ASPNET/Prometheus/Editor/Examples/SaveInExternalFile/DefaultCS.aspx
  2. Add an image
  3. Go into image properties and set it to align left
  4. Click "save"
  5. The alignment is saved as expected
  6. Go back into image properties and the alignment state is set to "none"
  7. This causes problems because the end user does not expect to have to re-set the alignment every time that update and image's properties.

Thanks,
John

Hi John,

Thank you for pointing out these problems.

We will try to fix them until the official release of Q3 SP1 of RadControls for ASP.NET AJAX.

Hi I still have problems with the Image alignment.

In both Firefox and IE i have this issue. When saving or sitching to html view and back the alignment is lost.

I use The RadEditor Provider for DotNetNuke 5 the version of the editor is 2008.3 1314

Kind regards,
Dieter

Hello Tom,

Next week (the second week of March 2009) will be the official 2009 Q1 release of RadControls for ASP.NET AJAX. The addressed above features are fixed there. A couple of weeks ago we released a beta version (futures) of the official 2009 Q1 controls. You can test the RadEditor in the provided online demos at the following address http://demos.telerik.com/aspnet-ajax-beta/editor/examples/default/defaultcs.aspx. We will be glad if you inform us if you experience any issues related to the image alignment.

Thank you.

Sincerely yours,
Stanimir
