Hello Kendo guys,

Great framework!
However, I'm having issues related with IE7 like sprites showing in the background on hovering, displacement of windows etc...
Could you please take a look at www.snickers-online.be/werk ?
Using IE8+, Chrome and Safari (on PC, not on iPad), the site shows fine. Using IE 7, the site is not usable at all.

Thank you in advance,

Wim

Hello Wim,

There are some javascript errors happening when your Windows are opening, that may cause some of the discrepancies (for instance the NumericTextBox is not initialized due to this). We identified the issue as related to setting the text box placeholder option. To avoid the error you can turn off the placeholder option in IE7 until we fix it in one of the next internal builds.

Most of the other layout and flickering problems are caused by the missing doctype on your page. When doctype is missing, IE automatically switches to Quirks mode, which uses the IE5.5 engine for rendering, hence the issues. Kendo UI doesn't support IE in Quirks mode, please always specify doctype on your pages.
