I have started a bug report ticket with telerik over this - their reply is that it will be fixed in the service pack or next version.

I wanted to see how much this bug affects other people. If this is a problem for you, please post here. We'd really like to get this fixed ASAP.

As per the title - the HTML viewer respects page breaks AFTER groupfootersections, but when exporting to PDF/TIFF, the page breaks are in the wrong place. See attached PDF and screenshots.

Hello edgebyte,

We hope to release Service Pack 1 next week or the week after. We will do everything possible to resolve the PageBreak issue for that Service Pack.

Kind regards,
Rossen

I am having the same problem.  Several of our reports with footer page breaks have missing, cropped or shifted (down) detailed lines and /or missing headings.

Hello Ryan,

SP1 (aka Telerik Reporting v1.1) solves the problems with the page breaks. Actually there is another issue with the Image/PDF rendering that is still pending and that may be the reason for your troubles -- GroupHeader/FooterSection.PrintOnEveryPage set to true. We strongly recommend you to avoid using this property at this time (should be set to false - default value).

To ensure you're running the latest version of Telerik Reporting you may check out this KB article: http://www.telerik.com/support/kb/article/b454K-mce-b454T-cge-b454c-cge.aspx.

Best wishes,

Ryan

I can confirm that SP1 fixed the issues that I started this thread about.

I am using reporting 1.5 and I am experiencing the exact opposite issue.

I have the groupheader print on every page and the pagebreak after the groupfooter (which is completely blank if that matters).  The PDF respects the breaks and shows 8 pages to the report.  The web viewer does not and shows 6 pages with the second group starting midway through page 3 instead of starting new on page 4.

Also, apparently because the break is set to after the group footer, it puts a blank last page in the generated pdf which makes the page numbering misleading (and wastes paper).  Page 7 does not go all the way to the end.

Any ideas on how to resolve these 2 issues?

Page break issue is fixed.  GroupFooter was not set to visible.  Blank last page is still there however

Hi Joel,

We have tried to reproduce the issue but unfortunately to no avail. Can you send us the report definition and the generated .pdf document so that we can examine it more thoroughly.

Thank you in advance.
