Hi Telerik,
I am designing a report in Telerik Report Designer, and I have used a crosstab as shown below:
and the value of ABC (category) and XYZ is retrieved from the API. Suppose ABC are country/color/subject and XYZ are Nepal, Netherlands/red, green/maths, and English as shown below:
but expands according to the data we selected in the filter, and this table shows the category of the selected values accordingly.
My requirement:
I need 4 categories in one row only, and the remaining should be in another row. How can we do that?
Is there any way we can fix the width of the crosstab? so that the width of the crosstab will be fixed on the basis of the report width.

Hi Prabesh,
I suggest the approach from the KB article Multi-Column Report - Across the Page and Then Down. You need a List where you can display the data and a zero-based Indexing field. The denominator should be set to 4 (four), the number of columns.

Just wanted to let you know that using your suggestion it worked perfectly, and thank you so much for your guidance, support, and incredible patience.
I had a really fun and interesting time learning Telerik Reporting and applying it to real-world problems. Unfortunately, from this month onward I won’t be able to continue using it in this project as I’m leaving my current company. I’m currently in the process of job hunting, so I really hope that wherever I get hired next, if they want data visualization along with their own report server, I would definitely recommend Telerik for it.
Thank you again to you and the whole Telerik team. I’ve learned so much from your help, and I’m excited to keep exploring Telerik Reporting in my personal projects too.
