how to indentify a new row in grid and insert it into the database

Hi ,

I have a grid in which I had to populate a new row for a new product. I am showing the grid in the edit mode.( used AllowMultipleRowEdit=true)

My question is how to identify new rows from old rows.And how Iinsert the new ones and  update the old ones to the  database accordingly.
