Hello, everybody!

Can anyone help me make the dropdown in report parameters show an empty text.
It always automatically writes "(empty)" instead of an empty text (I only want an empty line without any words).
I will really appreciate if anyone can help.

Hi Maks,

You have not mentioned the most important thing - which viewer are you referring to? Also is the report parameter unbound/bound and if the latter, what properties have you set to it, what type is it?

Should you use the ASP.NET or WinForms viewers, please check if ReportParametersSelectAValueText property is not set to the text you see in the dropdown parameter editor.
In case you use ReportViewer for Silverlight or WPF, please check for any resource files from where this text may come.

If the problem persists, provide us with more details about your report or a runnable sample that we can look into locally.

Kind regards,
Stef

Hi Stef,

I created my own UI for parameter area.
So, the problem is solved.
Thank you.
