How to Build a Dataviz theme with themebuilder? JSON?

After I build a theme for DataViz in the themebuilder what do I do with the JSON that I am able to generate?  When I click on the button in theme builder that says "What do I do with this?" it just tells me about how to replace the css for the web themes... 

So if I want to globally change my dataviz themes how do I do this using the theme builder?

Hello Jason,

Did you use the DataViz ThemeBuilder to build a theme? If yes you should set theme: 'newTheme' in the chart configuration and use the registerTheme() method to register the new theme on the page. For your convenience here is a simple jsBin example which demonstrates the suggested approach in action.

Hello Iliana,

I have created a theme using  DataViz ThemeBuilder.

For creating a theme, I have selected "Flat" theme to modify and clicked on "Kendo UI ThemeBuilder" button. In a theme drop down, 'Flat' theme appears but on widget default theme applied therefore customization of colors could not be applied for a 'Flat' theme. 

Could you please guide me how can I customize 'Flat' theme?

I have already replied to the same question in your other thread, however I am pasting my answer here too:
Thank you for pointed our attention to this issue - it appears there is a bug in the current version of Kendo UI DataViz ThemeBuilder and widget default theme is always applied. I forwarded the issue to our developers for further investigation - we will do our best to address it as soon as possible. Please excuse us for the inconvenience caused.
