How to apply license for KendoUI angular

    Hi team,

    My company purchased two licenses for KendoUI angular and I am one of the senior software engineers. My question is how should I apply license for KendoUI angular version because I am using KendoUI component by installing packages from NPM which is publicly accessible for everyone. Is there any special build or something we missed? How do you guys validate licensing for KendoUI angular version?

    Hello Hadi,

    Indeed, the Kendo UI for Angular packages are publicly available via NPM and there is no additional step required on the developer part for providing their license or credentials anywhere in the application.

    The license enables using our packages in production applications in accordance with the End User License Agreement, and of our support service in accordance with the purchased support plan.

    Our legal department takes care of observing for unauthorized usage of our products and taking the respective actions.

    Hi,

    I would like to purchase a Kendo UI license to use it in my angular application. Wanted to understand how to apply the license in angular application. I will be  installing kendo UI through NPM so how to apply license on it.

    Hello Ranjit,

    Thank you for your interest in Kendo UI. As described in my previous response, currently there is no need to provide/apply the license to your application(s) in any way. The license gives the legal right to use our product in your applications in accordance with the EULA, and our support service as per the purchased support plan.

    To sum up - purchasing a license and installing our packages via NPM are the only required steps.
