How to achieve Supress(No drill down) option in TELERIK REPORTS

Hello Telerik Team,

I am converting the Crystal reports to telerik reports. In previous crystal reports we had "Supress(No drill down)" option
if we want  to hide some sections based on some conditions. Do we have that kind of option in telerik reports.If so can you quote me an example on how to achieve it.
My requirement is hiding and showing some sections in the telerik report.

Hi Smith,

Currently Telerik Reporting does not support drill-down functionality so you do not have to suppress anything.
You can get familiar with the available sections from the Understanding Report Sections help article. As you can see each section has its own purpose and there is rarely a case where you would need to hide conditionally a whole section. Still if you need to do so, you can:

• use the Bindings property
• use Conditional Formatting

It's been a year since this question was asked.  Has drill-down supression similar to Crystal Reports been implemented in the Telerik Report control?  If not, what soultion do you recommend for being able to suppress the details of a report?

Hello Edgar,

You can control whether a report item/section initially displays and allow the users to modify the item/section visibility. Just set the item/section.Visibility and provide a toggle visibility action.
