Hi,

Let me try to clarify the difference between the RadChart and RadChartView controls. Please note that the RadChart control has many known limitations and bugs that we are not planning to estimate resources and fix them. This is why we developed the RadChartView control. It has improved performance and usability and we are currently working on developing the new control. This is why we strongly suggest to our customers to migrate to the new RadChartView control.

Let me know get back to your issue. Unfortunately, you have hit one of the limitations of the old control. However, the required layout can be achieved with the new RadChartView control. You can use CustomAnnotation for this purpose. After creating that visual object you will be able to place it on the desired point. Furthermore, you will be able to set its ClipToPlotArea property to False. By doing so the annotation will not be trimmed by the vertical axis and it will be visualized over the axis - achieving your requirement. To do that you can use the approach described in this article.

Please give the described approach a try and let us know if you need any further assistance.
