I'm looking for a way to replace this MS chart (see attachment) with a horizontal bar chart that has a range for high and low values (yellow portion in the image).  Is there any way to do this with the DataViz charts?

Hello,

Please take a look at Kendo UI Bullet Chart - it is used for displaying actual and target values.

I need a little more than just a target value - I need an actual value, with range (high/low) values.  Is there some way to modify the plot bands per category, like in this sample?  (Highlighted in yellow)

Hi,

I am afraid the illustrated outcome is not supported by Kendo UI Chart. As a possible workaround I can suggest using two different stacks (one for the high/low values and another for the actual value), however you won't be able to plot the series one over another.
